Enjoy a leisure cycling holiday in the beautiful and unspoilt Lot region of sunny southwest France. The Lot is one of the largest and least populated departments and offers a widely varying terrain, from lush river valley to gently rolling countryside, to shady green forest and rocky limestone causse. Stay at our lovely old, stone Mas (farmhouse) nestled in the tranquil, wooded countryside of the Bouriane, between the Lot and Dordogne rivers. The great thing about this tour is that you stay with us for the whole week, which means that you don’t need to live out of a suitcase and you get to come home every evening to the peaceful surroundings of our lovely 18th century converted barn to be spoilt with wonderful food and plenty of wine. Each daily route covers between 20 and 35 miles (35 -60 kilometres) or about 5 hours leisurely cycling each day. The majority of the riding is along quiet, virtually traffic-free roads and the terrain is mostly gently undulating with a few more challenging climbs here and there. Easier and harder options are included on each route so that you can select according to your level of cycling ability.
